My Workflow Isn't Showing Up in the Chrome Extension
Last updated: May 14, 2026
If your workflow has a Browser Extension Input node but doesn't appear in the Gumloop Chrome Extension, the node's action setting may not have been registered properly. Re-select the action (e.g., Scrape) in the node's Action dropdown, save the workflow, and it will show up in the extension.
Symptoms
You've built a workflow with a Browser Extension Input node as the first node.
The workflow does not appear in the Gumloop Chrome Extension dropdown, even though you've selected the correct workspace.
Other workflows may appear in the extension normally.
Cause
When you add a Browser Extension Input node and save the workflow, Gumloop registers the workflow as a "replay flow" so the Chrome extension can discover it. Occasionally, the action setting on the node doesn't get registered during the initial save. Without a valid registered action, the extension can't list the workflow.
Resolution
Open your workflow in the workflow editor.
Click on the Browser Extension Input node to open its settings.
Click the Action dropdown and select a different action (e.g., switch from
ScrapetoScreenshot).Switch it back to your desired action (e.g., back to
Scrape).Save the workflow.
Open the Gumloop Chrome Extension — your workflow should now appear in the list.
If the workflow still doesn't appear, also try:
Confirming you've selected the correct workspace in the extension (Personal vs. a team workspace). The workflow must be in the same workspace the extension is pointed to.
Refreshing the Chrome extension by closing and reopening it.
Validation
After saving, open the Gumloop Chrome Extension on any web page. Your workflow should appear in the extension's workflow list and be ready to run.
